The Treatment
We’ll ensure you receive a natural result with a customized filler dosage. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your optimal treatment plan. The treated area will be sanitized and cleansed. We may provide you with a topical or local anesthetic to numb the area before the injection to minimize any discomfort. Our providers will inject a customized dosage of filler beneath the skin. The sensations you may experience during the procedure include mild pinching. You may need several treatments for optimal volume restoration. We’ll determine the number of treatments you require in order to achieve the desired result at your consultation.

Hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane, Juvéderm, RHA, and Versa) have a soft, gel-like texture that replaces lost volume and helps smooth lines and wrinkles. Results can last 6-12+ months and vary based on several factors, such as product selection and the area treated. Radiesse is a calcium-based dermal filler that has an additional indication for treating volume loss in the back of the hands and jawline. Radiesse stimulates collagen and elastin production. Results last 12+ months on average.

Symptoms such as swelling, mild discomfort, and bruising may occur. These symptoms typically subside within a few days. There is no downtime after a dermal filler treatment, but bruising may be present for up to a week. Plan any special events with recovery time in mind.
